The GrassCity Vaporizer

Marketed as a device to help you stop smoking, it’s not only tobacco that can be vaporized in the GrassCity Vaporizer.

The psychoactive effects of all plants come from the essential oils, not from the smoke produced when burning. A temperature of approximately 350°C is all that is needed to allow plant material to release essential oils, and this is much lower than the temperature required for incineration. Working on this principal and the use of convection, the inbuilt heater in the GrassCity Vaporizer warms your tobacco or other plant material to just the right degree to let loose these volatile oils.  The result?  No inhaling of the toxic by-products of burning, and maximum experience of the herb’s effects.

Although this vaporizer is relatively inexpensive, it has been constructed using quality materials.  This means that the GrassCity vaporizer is durable, functional, and affordable.

To look at, well, it looks durable, functional, and affordable!  No unnecessary adornments; flat black base, and a dark green plinth that holds the heating element. Atop the plinth is an octagonal black plate, which supports the glass bowl.  Inside the bowl, the heating element terminates in a holding disk that holds the finely ground tobacco or herbs.  With your eyes half-closed, I suppose it might look a little like a light bulb on a plinth!  Size wise, its 26.5cm high x 11cm wide, so not huge.

Easy to use, you simply plug in the machine and let it warm for a few minutes, remove the bowl and place your finely chopped herbs onto the holding disk, replace the bowl and start to inhale through the standard whip almost immediately.

The GrassCity Vaporizer is supplied for 220v English and European (and, in fact, most of the world’s!) electricity supplies so users in the US and Canada will need to purchase a step-down voltage converter to allow use at 110v.

In summary, if you are trying to quit smoking or would like to enjoy the therapeutic effects of herbs such as cannabis, salvia, damiana, or yerba santa, then vaporizing is the safest and, probably, the most pleasant way to do so.  That being the case, if you are looking for durability and affordability, the GrassCity Vaporizer ticks all the right boxes.
